Wednesday Evenings in Lent
Out of an abundance of caution, the remaining Wednesday Evening Lenten activities have been put on hold, with the hope of resuming the activities later this year.
A Special Message from Grace's President:
Dear members and friends of Grace,
Given the recent state and federal officials' decisions over the rapidly changing situation with COVID-19, the Grace's Executive Committee and Pastor Tom have decided to cancel the Sunday services for March 15, 22, 29, and April 5, 2020. It is our plan to schedule a celebratory worship service for Easter Sunday on April 12. We are actively working on digital solutions to make some type of worship service available to you remotely over this time period. Please stay tuned for updates and schedule changes warranted by the dynamic situation.
It is the mission and responsibility of Grace to support our community and membership, especially in times of a national emergency. The staff and Church Council are committed to this. However, out of an abundance of caution, the leadership team wants to protect the health of our membership and visitors. We are proud of the many important ministries that occur at Grace every day. Subject to further discussions and decisions, the Executive Committee has decided to keep the church open and permit gatherings of less than 25 people for the time being. The details are still being sorted out. Church Council will establish policy and make relevant decisions at our monthly meeting on March 18.
Please pray for those infected with the virus for rapid recovery and for the health care professionals caring for them, and please do what you need to do to keep yourself safe and healthy. Stay tuned for more information related to activities at Grace.
Yours In Christ,
President, Church Council
